The project aims to develop the education of Active Citizenship for Young people, promoting new participation-mediation concepts and leading to the empowerment of Young people. It also wants to promote new technical and political instruments of institutional mediation.
The aim of the project is to construct a new model of governance which strengthens the ability to propose and verify the political responsibility of Young people, guaranteeing them self-liberation and value, simultaneously introducing the role of formal political mediation of the institutional representatives.
The project includes formative training addressed to youth organisations of civil society and to the various members of the school system (students, teachers and parents); it will be delivered through informative seminars and active laboratories on the knowledge of human rights and on their effective protection in the local community.
The practical aim of the training is the construction of a permanent “civic laboratory-observatory” of Young people, where, with appropriate methodologies, the dialogue between the subjects of civil society and, moreover, between these ones and the institutions, will take place, so takng advantage of the facilitating and impartial function of the local ombudsman: he will be, therefore, guarantor of good practices and, at the same time, agent of change.
