SUMMARY OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE 1ST LOCAL SEMINAR
On April 22nd 2004 Loutraki Gymnasio organized the 1st local seminar of the ACT.CITY International Project. The first part was a lecture on the following subjects:
a) The Initiative of the ACT.CITY project, by Dr. C. Tartaris, Head of the Secondary Education Department of Kiato,
b) Aims, content and methodology of the ACT.CITY project, by Dr. D. Kamarinou, Health Eduaction Advisor of Korinthia,
c) Active Citizenship in schools: The experience of G. Britain, by Mrs. Vouraki, Teacher,
d) Citizens and their rights, by Mr. N. Lois, Lawyer,
The second part of the seminar consisted of:
a) Brainstorming and discussion on assessing the student needs,
b) Creative workshop: “Our ideal school environment” – Constructions and drawings by the students.
